My 10 year old son wanted to be a predator for Halloween. After searching numerous stores, online and in person, we found no one really carries anything related anymore. So I turned to Amazon. He was thrilled with this item online and the price was great, so we ordered. When it came it looked absolutely nothing like the picture. The eye are is black, the bottom jaw is solid grey and shaped differently, there is nothing on the side like shown, even the top is a different shape, texture, and color. It was not the same mask as pictured. My son was okay with it, and it was only a week away from Halloween, so we had to suck it up.The other thing that stuck out was the rubber smell. No amount of airing and washing could get rid of it. My son was only able to wear the mask for about 30 minutes before taking it off. It was just too overpowering.The eye area has a weird type of plastic sewn over it making vision blurry. Not to mention the edges of the plastic are sharp. It actually scratched my son's cheek. We wound up having to cut the plastic out so he could see without cutting himself.Lastly, the size. It is supposed to be a child's mask, but it's huge! My husband was able to wear it and it was still big on him.All in all, it was a dissapointment, but when you're that close to Halloween (and we ordered it in Sept, it just took over a month to arrive) you wind up having to make-do.
