I had been looking for a fun Avengers themed costume to have for an event I had coming up, and I have to say I was thrilled when I pulled this out of the package. Overall the whole thing looks great, but there are a few minor complaints I have.1) The front of the costume is detailed and looks like something the Cap might wear, but my issue is with the back side. The back has no detail whatsoever, it's just plain blue with no pattern or anything, so from the back it just looks like you are wearing a bulky blue one-piece jumpsuit.2) The whole costume is one piece (excluding the hood), which is not a problem. Getting in the first time is a little funky, but you figure it out. The problem I have is the big gaping hole in the back of the costume is only sealed up with 3 tiny velcro tabs (by tiny, I mean they are about the size of a dime or smaller). The velcro easily comes undone with any shoulder movement. This can be counteracted by sewing (or fabric glueing) longer velcro strips in the back if you are handy with fabrics, or with a safety pin or two. Not a deal breaker, just slightly annoying.3) The legs come up a little short. I'm about 6'2" 230lb and I ordered the XXL (50-52) size, and overall the costume fits nicely, but when I bend my legs or sit down the legs pull up to about halfway up my calf. If you are shorter this might not be a problem, but for me I have figured out that wearing long red socks with high-top combat style boots compliments the costume pretty well. While the boots may not be accurate to his costume, I don't have red leather boots laying around and these look fine.Otherwise, the costume is really cool. The torso and arms are filled with down stuffing so you look bulky and muscly like the hero. The hood piece is a little flimsy and cheesy, but it doesn't look bad. The costume as a whole is comfortable to wear, even though it is filled with down stuffing it breathes well and doesn't cook you to death. To complete the costume fully, I would suggest this shield: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004QMLQYW/ref=cm_cr_rev_prod_img. It's a little pricey, but it looks great and makes the costume almost perfect (perfect as close as you can without going as far to get movie replicas). Also, I'd like to add in the costume is surprisingly durable. My friends and I ran a charity race called The Dirty Dash (a 3 mile race through the mud and climbing and crawling over obstacles and such) as the Avengers. I ran over 3 miles with the costume soaked; crawled in the dirt, rocks, and grass; slid over walls, rope ladders, and slides, all of that and the costume held up perfectly (no tears, no frayed seams, nothing). What also surprised me is the down fluff didn't clump up or get deformed. A few wash cycles later and 15 minutes in the dryer on low fluffed the costume back up and you'd never know I abused it so.It may be a little pricey, but it's pretty well worth it. I would recommend this to any Captain America fans looking for a great looking costume.
