I thought this costume was very well-made. The material was of decent weight - velvety black and rich deep burgandy/red - very pleased/impressed with the quality, especially for a kids costume. I always worry about cheap material and the seams causing itchiness and an uncomfortable feel, but my daughter had no complaints and she wore it on three different Halloween events. It was very comfortable and silky smooth. She is 7 years old, average/thin build and the medium fit her perfect. She really enjoyed the wings, but the collar was a bit odd. I don't believe we put it on correctly though. The only negative was the bat jewelry that was attached to the collar fell off immediately - no worries, we made it into a necklace. Overall, my daughter was very proud of her costume and I would highly recommend it.
